Bring a piece of Colonial American history to your table with this set of three Liberty Blue "Fraunces Tavern" round serving bowls, crafted in England on durable Staffordshire ironstone by Enoch Wedgwood (Tunstall) Ltd. during the 1970s. Part of the beloved Liberty Blue collection introduced in 1975 for America's Bicentennial, each bowl features a detailed transferware depiction of Fraunces Tavern, the historic New York City landmark where George Washington bid farewell to his officers in 1783. Surrounded by an intricate floral border in rich cobalt blue, these bowls combine everyday durability with timeless historical charm. Dishwasher safe and made from sturdy ironstone, they are equally suited for serving, display, or adding to a Liberty Blue or colonial-themed collection. Good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
