Driving guitar riffs and memorable hooks define The Cars’ self-titled debut vinyl record, featuring classic rock favorites including “Just What I Needed,” “My Best Friend’s Girl,” “Good Times Roll,” and “Moving in Stereo.” Produced by Roy Thomas Baker, this vintage Elektra stereo LP bears catalog number 6E-135, with its red label and PRC-W designation consistent with a 1978 U.S. pressing from PRC Recording Company in Compton, California. The distinctive cover artwork and nine-track lineup make this album an excellent addition to a classic rock or power pop vinyl collection. The year 1978 denotes the album’s original release year; the catalog number appears directly on the label. Jacket displays surface wear, edge wear, and creasing consistent with age and use.
