Released in 1972 on Elektra Records, Judy Collins’ Colors of the Day: The Best of Judy Collins brings together memorable recordings from one of the most influential voices of the American folk revival. This vintage stereo vinyl LP, catalog EKS-75030, features the distinctive Elektra butterfly label and includes favorites such as “Someday Soon,” “Both Sides Now,” “Suzanne,” and “Farewell to Tarwathie.” Manufactured in the United States, the album highlights Collins’ distinctive soprano vocals and blend of traditional folk, contemporary songwriting, and acoustic arrangements, making it an appealing addition to a collection of 1970s vinyl, classic folk music, Elektra Records releases, and female singer-songwriter LPs.
