Psychedelic rock history comes to life with this vintage Beatles Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band stereo vinyl record, originally released in 1967 and manufactured in the United States by Capitol Records, catalog number SMAS-2653. The black Capitol rainbow label, absence of subsidiary wording, and early A Little Help From My Friends song-title misprint are consistent with the original 1967 U.S. first pressing. Produced by George Martin, this landmark album includes Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, Getting Better, She’s Leaving Home, and A Day in the Life. Includes the gatefold jacket with its colorful Beatles portrait and printed lyrics, plus the intact, unused Sgt. Pepper cutout sheet featuring the moustache, picture card, stripes, badges, and band stand-up. The year 1967 denotes the original album release year, while the catalog number is taken directly from the label. Jacket shows visible surface and edge wear; minor wear consistent with age and use.
Dimensions:
Record: 12” diameter

The early label misprint and rainbow-label details match documented first-issue characteristics.
