Add rustic American hearth character with this vintage John Wright cast iron tea kettle, a substantial 10-pound stove kettle featuring a rounded cast iron body, elongated pouring spout, fitted swivel-style lid, embossed JOHN WRIGHT maker’s mark, and distinctive wire bail handle with a coiled metal grip. John Wright began producing cast iron souvenirs and household goods in Wrightsville, Pennsylvania, in 1947, later acquiring historic regional foundry product lines; comparable John Wright kettles with this coil-handle configuration are generally associated with circa 1970s–1980s production in Pennsylvania, USA.
