Discover the fascinating world of vintage science with this Tasco 1200XK Microscope Kit, manufactured in Japan during the 1960s–1970s. Known for producing quality educational optical instruments, Tasco equipped this complete microscope set with interchangeable 8X, 15X, and 20X eyepieces, providing magnification up to 1200X for viewing plant cells, insects, minerals, and other specimens. The kit includes the original wood storage case, retail box, manual, glass slide, slide labels, three color cylinders, and three specimen bottles labeled Balsam, Eosine, and Methylene Blue, making it an excellent display piece or functional addition to a vintage laboratory or educational collection. The microscope has been tested and functions using ambient light through the mirror; however, the light beneath the mirror does not work, and the jack plug outlet has not been tested. Good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
