Marking the beginning of one of folk rock's most influential partnerships, Wednesday Morning, 3 A.M. was originally released in 1964 on Columbia Records as the debut studio album by Simon & Garfunkel. Although the album initially received little attention, it later gained legendary status after "The Sounds of Silence" became a hit, prompting Columbia to reunite the duo and launch their remarkable career.
