Sex Pistols Some Product Vinyl LP 1979 — VR 2 UK

A collectible piece of British punk rock history, Sex Pistols Some Product: Carri On Sex Pistols is a 1979 vinyl LP released by Virgin Records in England, catalog number VR 2. This unconventional compilation captures the rebellious attitude, controversial publicity, and irreverent humor of one of the most influential bands of the original UK punk movement. Rather than a traditional studio album, Some Product features a collection of interviews, radio appearances, promotional recordings, and spoken-word material documenting the Sex Pistols' rise to notoriety during the late 1970s. Produced by John Varnom, the album includes tracks such as "The Very Name 'Sex Pistols'," "From Beyond the Grave," and more - offering a fascinating glimpse into the media frenzy surrounding Johnny Rotten, Sid Vicious, Steve Jones, and Paul Cook. The distinctive bright green Virgin Records label, featuring the original VR 2 catalog designation and Made in England marking, adds to its appeal for collectors of vintage British vinyl, first-wave punk rock, 1970s alternative music, and Sex Pistols memorabilia.
