Showcase a classic piece of American Colonial Revival furniture with this S. Bent & Bros. brace back Windsor style rocking chair, crafted in Gardner, Massachusetts, the historic “Chair City” of New England. Founded in 1867, S. Bent & Bros. became one of America’s most respected chair manufacturers, known for producing high-quality Windsor and Colonial-style seating. This rocker features the iconic hoop-back design with gracefully turned spindles, a sculpted saddle seat, turned legs, and traditional stretcher supports, all finished in a rich medium-brown stain that highlights the natural wood grain. Ideal for a farmhouse, colonial, traditional, or country-style interior, this timeless rocking chair offers both comfort and enduring craftsmanship while serving as a beautiful example of American furniture-making heritage. Good vintage condition, minor wear consistent with age and use.

Based on the label and stamped mark, this chair was manufactured by S. Bent & Bros. in Gardner, Massachusetts, USA, and was produced during the 1960s, when the company’s Colonial Revival Windsor furniture was especially popular.
