Inspired by Sir Joshua Reynolds’s celebrated portrait The Age of Innocence, this framed needlepoint artwork depicts a young girl seated outdoors beside a tranquil landscape. Worked in warm gold, olive green, brown, ivory, and muted blue yarn on canvas, the composition features detailed facial stitching, textured clothing, and a fully stitched border bearing the titles “Innocence” and “Reynolds.” Presented in a gold-tone wood frame with decorative inner trim, this traditional portrait needlework was handmade in the United States circa 1960s–1980s. Good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and display.
