Inspired by Sir Henry Raeburn’s portrait Boy with a Rabbit, this framed needlepoint artwork depicts a young boy reclining outdoors while holding a white rabbit. Worked in warm gold, green, blue, brown, and ivory yarn on canvas, the piece includes detailed facial features, textured clothing, a scenic background, and the artist and subject names stitched into the lower border. Presented in a coordinating gold-tone wood frame, this traditional portrait needlework was handmade circa 1960s–1980s and makes a distinctive addition to an English country, traditional, or equestrian-inspired interior. Good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and display.
