Russel Wright Style Seafoam Green Ceramic Covered Pitcher

Bring iconic mid-century design character to the table with this large Russel Wright–style seafoam green ceramic covered pitcher with matching underplate, featuring the fluid, organic curves and streamlined simplicity associated with American Modern dinnerware. The softly rounded body, sculptural loop handle, broad pouring spout, fitted lid, and glossy aqua-green glaze give the piece a distinctly Mid-Century Modern, biomorphic, and American Modernist appearance. Ideal as a water or beverage pitcher, serving piece, kitchen display, or addition to a collection of vintage modernist pottery, the coordinating round underplate completes its substantial sculptural presentation. The piece appears to be a later Russel Wright-inspired design, circa 1980s–2000s; no visible maker’s mark is present to identify the manufacturer or place of manufacture. Good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
