Rich treacle-brown glazing gives this set of three Pearson’s of Chesterfield lidded crocks a classic English farmhouse appearance, featuring cylindrical half-pint bodies, fitted knobbed lids, and small steam vents. Produced in Chesterfield, England, circa the 1970s, these durable stoneware vessels are sized for individual casseroles, baked beans, French onion soup, pot pies, condiments, or rustic kitchen storage. Each base is marked “Made in England, ½ pt., by Pearson’s of Chesterfield, Established 1810,” with 1810 referring to the pottery’s founding rather than the production date. Good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
