Bring vintage nautical character to a coastal display with this Chinese-made maritime-style oil lantern, featuring a square metal body with clear glass panels, protective wire guards, copper-tone trim, vented chimney, and carrying handle. The interior retains its traditional-style oil burner with wick, decorative crown gallery, and adjustment knob marked “Made in China.” Produced approximately during the 1980s–1990s, this decorative lantern was designed in the style of earlier ship, railway, and utility lanterns, combining an aged black finish with warm copper-toned accents for an appealing antique-inspired appearance. A distinctive addition to nautical, maritime, industrial, or rustic décor. Good vintage condition with patina, oxidation, surface wear, and discoloration consistent with age and use. Burner has not been tested.
