Delicate and richly detailed, this antique Nippon condiment bowl set showcases the refined artistry of early 20th century Japanese porcelain. Marked on the underside with the green “Hand Painted Nippon” wreath backstamp, this set dates to circa 1891–1921, a highly collectible period when Nippon wares were exported to the American market. The footed bowl features three raised ball feet with subtle gilt accents and is beautifully decorated with hand-painted pink florals, soft green leaves, and intricate gold scrollwork with draped garland detailing along the rim. The coordinating underplate mirrors the same elegant motif, while the matching porcelain ladle completes the set with graceful curvature and fine gilt trim. Ideal for serving sauces, berries, nuts, or condiments, this charming three-piece set embodies Edwardian-era table elegance and makes a lovely addition to antique porcelain collections. In good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, including light age-appropriate gilt wear, it remains highly displayable and functional.
