Add sophisticated Italian art glass to your home with this Murano glass bowl or vase, featuring a rounded asymmetrical form with a dramatically folded rim and sweeping black and white ribbon-like decoration suspended within clear glass. The original label reads “Vetro Eseguito Secondo la Tecnica dei Maestri di Murano – Made in Italy,” identifying it as Italian glass produced using traditional Murano glassmaking techniques. Dating approximately to the late 20th century, circa 1980s, this substantial hand-formed art glass vessel was made in Italy and displays the organic shape, layered color, and fluid movement associated with modern Venetian decorative glass. Ideal as a centerpiece, decorative bowl, wide-mouth vase, or addition to a collection of Murano-style glass, Italian art glass, Mid-Century Modern decor, and contemporary studio glass. Good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
