Showcasing bold Postmodern design, this Mikasa Diane Love cutout bud vase was designed by Diane Love for Mikasa and crafted in Japan, circa 1980s–1990s. The sculptural ceramic form combines a rich burgundy-brown high-gloss glaze with a softly curved rectangular silhouette, offset narrow bud opening, and dramatic circular cutout through the center. Its geometric shape gives the vase a distinctly architectural quality, allowing it to function beautifully as either a single-stem vessel or standalone decorative sculpture. The underside retains its original Diane Love for Mikasa Japan label. A distinctive piece for collectors of vintage Mikasa, Diane Love ceramics, Japanese pottery, Postmodern décor, geometric ceramics, modernist vases, and 1980s–1990s interior design. Good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
