Cook and serve in classic American cast iron with this Lodge #8DO cast iron camp Dutch oven with lid, featuring a deep round cooking vessel, fitted flanged lid, sturdy wire bail handle with coiled grip, and integral legs designed to elevate the pot over campfire coals. The underside is clearly marked “Lodge USA 8DO,” while the lid carries the “8IC 10¼ DIA. USA” marking and raised self-basting points on the interior, helping circulate moisture during slow cooking, roasting, baking, and braising. Manufactured by Lodge Manufacturing Company in South Pittsburg, Tennessee, USA, this marking and design are associated with late 20th-century production, circa 1980s–1990s. A substantial piece of American cast iron cookware ideal for camping, outdoor cooking, hearth cooking, or a Lodge collection. Good vintage condition with minor wear, seasoning variations, and surface oxidation consistent with age and use.
