Add a touch of global folk art to your décor with this set of three hand-carved wooden “Three Wise Monkeys” figurines, depicting the traditional See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil poses. Each seated monkey is individually carved from richly grained tropical hardwood with a warm brown finish, stylized elongated features, and expressive hands covering the eyes, ears, or mouth. The underside retains an export-style “Made in Kenya” ink stamp, along with handwritten markings, identifying the set as Kenyan craftsmanship. These decorative figures were popular examples of East African tourist and export carving during the mid-to-late 20th century, and this set dates to approximately the 1960s–1980s. Their streamlined, sculptural forms and beautiful natural wood grain make them especially appealing for a vintage, global, African folk art, or eclectic décor collection. Good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
