Showcasing Joan Baez at the height of her crossover success, Blessed Are... expanded her folk roots with country, gospel, and contemporary singer-songwriter influences. Released in 1971 on Vanguard Records, this acclaimed double LP features memorable interpretations of The Beatles' "Let It Be," Kris Kristofferson's "Help Me Make It Through the Night," and The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down, alongside original material and traditional songs. This copy bears catalog number VSD-6571/2 and features the black Vanguard "Connoisseur" labels, representing an early U.S. stereo pressing issued during the album's original release. A landmark release in Joan Baez's catalog and an excellent addition to collections of folk, Americana, and classic singer-songwriter vinyl. Good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Please see photographs for the condition of the record sleeves and vinyl.
