Delicate blue flowers and richly gilded details give this antique Jean Pouyat Limoges cup set an elegant turn-of-the-century appearance. Made in Limoges, France, approximately 1890s, the set includes a full-size teacup and miniature two-handled loving cup, each crafted from fine porcelain with a softly shaded ivory ground, hand-painted floral sprays, raised textural accents, and gold-trimmed rims and handles. The loving cup bears the green J.P.L. France backstamp used by Jean Pouyat. Good antique condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
