Add richly detailed Japanese color to a porcelain collection with this vintage pair of Geisha Girl handled bonbon dishes, made in Japan during the 1920s–1930s. Each lobed porcelain bowl features colorful interior scenes of traditionally dressed women within garden and domestic settings, surrounded by chrysanthemums, butterflies, foliage, and intricate red-and-gold borders. Raised enamel accents and lavish gilding add texture and brilliance, while sculptural red handles and deeply scalloped rims give the dishes an especially decorative form. Beautiful displayed as Japanese export porcelain or used to hold wrapped candies and other small items. Good vintage condition with wear to the gilding and decoration consistent with age and use.

Dimensions: Each: 6” x 3”
