The historic notice details daily rail service between Alexandria and Winchester, Virginia, with stops including Falls Church, Vienna, Leesburg, Hamilton, Purcellville, and other Northern Virginia communities, alongside fares and schedules. Below is an advertisement for the Vanderbilt European Line, promoting United States Mail steamship service between New York, Southampton, and Le Havre aboard the Vanderbilt and Illinois. The reproduction is mounted on a solid wood plaque with a brass-tone hanging ring, while the reverse bears the Heritage Plaques mark from Falls Church, Virginia.
