Bring authentic early American kitchen history to your collection with this antique Hazel-Atlas E-Z Seal canning jar, manufactured in the United States during the early 20th century, circa 1910s–1920s. Made from thick aqua-blue glass, this substantial preserving jar features embossed “ATLAS E-Z SEAL” lettering, a matching glass lid, wire bail closure, and rubber sealing gasket. The base is boldly embossed “ATLAS E-Z SEAL TRADE MARK REG.,” helping identify it as an early Hazel-Atlas preserving jar from the era when reusable glass canning containers were everyday household necessities. The naturally occurring bubbles, irregularities, and subtle variations in the aqua glass give the jar wonderful antique character, while the original-style wire closure makes it especially appealing for display in a farmhouse kitchen, pantry, general store collection, or grouping of antique American glass. Good antique condition with surface wear, oxidation to the metal hardware, and age-related imperfections consistent with age and use.
