Bring delicate vintage elegance to your table with this R. S. Germany porcelain handled cake plate, featuring blue forget-me-not flowers, trailing green foliage, softly shaded pastel accents, and a rich gold border. Made in Germany circa the 1920s, this decorative serving plate has a gently scalloped outline and two pierced handles highlighted in gold. The reverse bears a personal presentation inscription dated 1928, adding a lovely connection to its history. Its graceful floral design makes it an appealing cake or pastry plate, cabinet display piece, or addition to a collection of German porcelain, vintage floral china, and cottage-style tableware. Good vintage condition with light surface marks and wear to the gold consistent with age and use.
