Bring richly detailed Japanese-inspired design to your coffee service with this Georges Briard Ancestral Garden espresso demitasse cup and saucer set, offering service for four. Crafted in Japan during the late 20th century, the porcelain pieces feature colorful stylized floral and leaf motifs in cobalt blue, rust red, green, orange, and white, creating an elegant Imari-inspired palette. The backstamp identifies the pattern as an authentic reproduction of Japanese porcelain circa 1825 from the private collection of Georges Briard. With four petite cups and four coordinating saucers, this eight-piece set is a distinctive choice for serving espresso or demitasse coffee and an attractive addition to a collection of Georges Briard, Japanese porcelain, or vintage tableware. Good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
