Traditional needlework and cheerful color give this vintage 1984 framed cross stitch sampler a warm country character. Worked on cream-colored fabric, the design features decorative uppercase and lowercase alphabets, numerals, small birds, floral motifs, and a colorful harvest fruit basket surrounded by a repeating strawberry-and-flower border. Signed with the initials “CB” and dated ’84, the completed sampler is presented in a dark wood frame and makes an inviting addition to farmhouse, cottage, kitchen, or traditional wall décor. Good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
