Celebrate Scottish folk music with this framed portrait of Patie Birnie, the celebrated fiddler of Kinghorn, Fife. The image reproduces an early 18th-century portrait by William Aikman and retains a verse beneath the fiddler’s likeness by Scottish poet Allan Ramsay. Its fine black-and-white lines, dark mat, and black-and-gold frame make it a distinctive piece for a music room or gallery wall. The original portrait dates to about 1715–1720. Good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
