Add refined antique French elegance to a table, cabinet, or gallery wall with this Bawo & Dotter Elite Works Limoges porcelain plate, crafted in Limoges, France, circa 1900–1914. The white porcelain plate features two colorful exotic long-tailed birds perched among delicate flowering branches, surrounded by coordinating floral sprays in coral, purple, green, and pink. Intricate black-and-gold geometric borders and a narrow gilded rim complete the Asian-inspired design popular during the late Victorian and Edwardian eras. The underside bears both the green Limoges Elite France mark and red Elite Works Limoges France backstamp associated with Bawo & Dotter. A beautiful collectible for enthusiasts of antique Limoges porcelain, French china, bird décor, chinoiserie tableware, gilded plates, and Elite Works ceramics. Good antique condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
