Dietz Vesta New York Central Railroad Kerosene Lantern Vintage

Displaying the rugged industrial design that made railroad lanterns indispensable for decades, this Dietz Vesta kerosene lantern was manufactured by the R. E. Dietz Company of New York and marked for use on the New York Central Railroad. Constructed of steel with a wire-guarded globe frame and carrying bail, the lantern retains traces of its original red finish along with an authentic weathered patina developed through years of service and storage.
