Serve up imaginative play with this charming Delton Products child’s porcelain tea set for two, presented in its fitted wicker carrying basket. Made in China circa the 1990s for Delton Product Corp., this 11-piece miniature tea service features a cheerful pink rose motif accented by yellow-and-white checkerboard borders and includes a teapot, creamer, sugar bowl, two teacups, two saucers, two plates, and two porcelain spoons. The coordinating wicker basket is lined in sunny yellow gingham fabric with fitted compartments and elastic straps for storing and displaying the pieces. The wicker case has been repaired at the hinges with jute rope and currently opens, closes, and functions as intended; while the repair is secure, a sturdier rope or more permanent attachment may be desired for continued use. Good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
