Displaying the elegant geometric motifs and crisp pressed-glass detail prized by collectors of Early American Pattern Glass, this Bryce Brothers Argent Rope Band cake stand dates to the late Victorian era, circa 1890–1905. Produced in the United States by Bryce Brothers Glass Company of Pennsylvania, the pattern features a distinctive rope-and-diamond design accented by radiating panels and finely molded ornamentation throughout the pedestal and serving surface. The elevated form makes it ideal for displaying cakes, pastries, fruit, or decorative arrangements while showcasing the brilliant light-reflecting qualities of clear pressed glass. A handsome example of antique American tableware, this stand appeals to collectors of EAPG, Victorian glass, and period entertaining pieces. Glass is in good antique condition with wear consistent with age and use.
