Add rustic woodland character to a bookshelf or cabin-inspired interior with this pair of vintage wooden bear bookends, featuring dimensional carved bear figures standing upright with their paws raised against substantial wood supports. The warm brown finish, beveled-edge bases and back panels, visible wood grain, and folk-art animal forms give the pair a charming mid-century rustic lodge and Adirondack-style appearance. The bears appear individually carved and detailed with painted eyes, noses, claws, and mouths. Based on their construction and styling, these bookends appear to date to approximately the 1950s–1970s; the country of manufacture cannot be determined from the visible markings. Perfect for a library, children’s room, mountain cabin, lodge decor, wildlife collection, or display of vintage wood carvings. Good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
