Launching with their self-titled debut album in 1971, Black Oak Arkansas introduced listeners to the band's unmistakable blend of Southern rock, hard rock, blues, and country, led by the energetic vocals of Jim "Dandy" Mangrum. Released on Atco Records, this debut features fan favorites including "Uncle Lijiah," "The Hills of Arkansas," and "Memories at the Window." This copy bears catalog number SD 33-354 and features the desirable yellow Atco label with the 1841 Broadway, New York address, identifying it as an early U.S. pressing from the album's original release period.
