Vintage Bacon, Stickney & Co.’s Best Ginger Advertising Tray, a colorful metal serving tray reproducing a historic late-19th century ginger brand advertisement from Albany, New York. This decorative tray was manufactured in England for Case Manufacturing Co., Inc. of New York, likely during the 1970s–1980s, and is marked on the reverse “Made in England… Replica Harry’s Grocery.” The design features bold red borders with Art Nouveau-inspired graphics, flanking figures, and a pastoral scene beneath the prominent “Best Ginger” branding associated with the Albany spice merchant Bacon, Stickney & Co., a well-known 19th-century American food importer and spice distributor. Vintage advertising trays like this were popular collectibles and décor pieces in country kitchens, diners, and general store-style displays. Durable metal construction and vivid period graphics make this piece both functional as a serving tray and appealing as nostalgic advertising décor. Offered in great vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
